About Us

We are a non-profit organization that aspires to care for an aging cemetery in Campbell, Ohio, called "Pioneer Methodist Cemetery". Originally named "Coitsville Methodist Episcopal Cemetery ", this cemetery serves as the final resting place for war heroes that fought in the War of 1812, the Civil War, World War I, and World War II, as well as prominent descendents of the greater Youngstown area.

This cemetery is owned by the City of Campbell, but is not currently cared for by anyone. Tombstones have been broken due to various forms of neglect, overgrowth has overcome parts of the cemetery, and what has served as the final resting place of our ancestors is in need of some desperate revitalization, just to save its' existence!

Since we are a non-profit organization, we require donations to keep going. If you would like to keep this site on the web, please send a donation to Dave, our President.
